Which plan should I pick?
Just need business email? Exchange Online Plan 1 gives you a 50GB mailbox with Outlook.
Need email plus Teams and cloud storage? Microsoft 365 Business Basic is the best value - everything online, no installed apps.
Want the full Office apps you can install on your PC or Mac? Microsoft 365 Business Standard is the most popular choice.
Care about device security and managed-device controls? Microsoft 365 Business Premium adds Microsoft Defender on top of everything in Standard.
What does "Managed" actually include?
On a Managed plan we look after your Microsoft 365 tenant for you: we set up your domain, add users, configure rules and shared mailboxes, and respond to support with priority. You keep full access throughout. It is the best option if you do not have a dedicated IT person.
What's the difference between Business Standard and Office 365 E3?
They include a very similar set of apps but they are aimed at different sized organisations.

Short version: if you have fewer than 300 staff and don't need the enterprise compliance tooling, Business Standard (or Business Premium for security) is the right pick and noticeably cheaper. Choose Office 365 E3 if you have more than 300 users, need larger mailboxes, or have regulatory requirements that demand the advanced compliance and information-protection features.
Where is Office 365?
Office 365 is now Microsoft 365. This change happened on 21st April 2020. The product services, apps, and features are the same and the price did not change.

Can I use Microsoft 365 with my iPhone or Android?
Yes. Microsoft 365 works on iPhone, iPad and Android with the Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and Office mobile apps. Shared mailboxes are currently only fully supported in the Outlook app.
Will you move my existing email across?
Yes. We offer a paid mailbox migration service. We coordinate the cutover, move messages, folders and contacts, and update your DNS so mail flow keeps working throughout.
Can I mix plans across my users?
Yes. You can have different licences on different users in the same tenant - for example Business Standard for staff who need the full Office apps, and Business Basic for users who only need email and Teams in the browser.
