What is DMARC, in plain English?
DMARC is a standard that lets you tell the world's inboxes which servers are allowed to send email using your domain name - and what to do with anything that isn't. Set up properly, it stops scammers sending email that looks like it came from you, and it improves the chance your genuine email lands in the inbox rather than the spam folder.
The catch has always been that DMARC sends back its reports as dense XML files that almost nobody can read. DMARC Made Easy turns those into a clear dashboard.
Is it really free?
Yes. Every Nutty About Hosting customer gets DMARC Made Easy free for all of their domains - health scores, sender reports and live spoofing alerts included. There's no card required and nothing to install.
It says beta - what does that mean?
We're rolling DMARC Made Easy out to customers now and actively improving it based on real feedback. It's stable and safe to use - being in beta simply means we're still adding features and would love to hear what you think.
Do I need to be technical to use it?
No. The whole point is that it answers two plain questions: is my email safe, and what should I do next? You get a health score out of 100 and a short, prioritised fix-it list written in everyday language. If you'd like a hand, our UK support team is one message away.
How is this different to SPF and DKIM?
SPF and DKIM are two building blocks that prove an email is legitimate. DMARC sits on top, ties them together and, crucially, reports back on what's happening. DMARC Made Easy reads those reports for you and tells you which senders are trusted, which need attention and which are unknown.
