Our Domain Lock service is available for all UK domain names (.uk, .co.uk, .me.uk, .org.uk, .ltd.uk). It means no changes can be made to your domain name, protecting your reputation by helping to prevent your website from being hijacked. Your domain is locked down at the registrar (Nominet) level and secured with two-factor authentication (2FA).

What does the Domain Lock service stop you from doing?
The Domain Lock service prevents:
- Nameservers from being changed
- The registrant name and/or address and contact details from being amended
- The domain from being transferred to another registrar
Who can unlock the domain?
We will be your pre-authorised representative, and you will need to contact us via email so we can confirm your identity.
What happens if I need to change my domain details more than twice a year?
There is a small charge for each additional change requested. Get in touch and we will sort it out for you.
