Don't panic. In most cases, you can still renew your domain even after it has expired.
When a domain expires, it isn't normally deleted straight away. Instead, it enters a grace period, giving you time to renew it before it becomes available for someone else to register.
The easiest way to check is by logging into your customer portal.
How do I renew an expired domain?
Renewing an expired domain only takes a few moments.
- Log in to your customer portal.
- Locate your expired domain.
- Tick the checkbox next to the domain name.
- Click Renew Selected Domain.
- Complete the checkout process.
Once payment has been received, your domain will normally be renewed automatically.
Good news!✅ Most expired domains can still be renewed without losing your website or email. ✅ Your website and email should begin working again once the renewal has completed and the domain becomes active. ✅ The renewal process usually only takes a few minutes once payment has been processed. ⚠️ The sooner you renew your domain, the better. Waiting too long could mean the domain leaves its renewal grace period and becomes available for someone else to register. |
Is there a deadline?
Yes.
Domains can only be renewed for a limited period after they expire.
If too much time has passed, the domain may leave the renewal grace period and become available for someone else to register.
For that reason, we always recommend renewing your domain as soon as possible if you decide you want to keep it.
What if my website or email has stopped working?
It's normal for your website and email to stop working once a domain has expired.
After renewing the domain, these services should begin working again automatically once the renewal has completed. In some cases, it may take a short while for the change to update across the internet.
It's a common misunderstanding...

❌ Myth: Once my domain has expired, it's gone forever. ✅ Fact: Most domains can still be renewed for a limited time after they expire, so don't panic — just renew yours as soon as possible. |
