Instead of hiding our datacentres we like to give you as much information as we can about them. That way you can feel safe in the knowledge that your website is being hosted in the best facilities available.

We work hard with our partners to achieve the best balance of cost along with reliability, speed and redundancy.

All the datacentres we use are staffed 24/7 by skilled and qualified engineers. The servers and operations are monitored 24/7 by the network team and access is highly secure.

Manchester Datacentres

All our datacentres are in Manchester. They offer great connection to the internet backbone without the prices of our capital or the south east of England. These datacentres have been specially designed from the ground up. They are equipped and secured with the latest equipment which is regularly maintained and tested.

• 4MW power supply to the site from a 6.6kV ring
• 430kVA supply to our facility
• 2 x 2MVA generators on site with 7 days’ fuel supply in underground storage
• UPS capacity of 380kVA in native n+1 mode
• 280kW of n+1 air conditioning
• Underfloor air conditioning maintaining 21C temperature
• Warm/cold aisle rack layout in collaboration with cold aisle containment
• Staff onsite 24/7
• VESDA smoke detection system
• FM200 non-destructive fire suppression
• 24/7 on-site security
• Online and SMS datacentre access request system
• Resilient fibre entering the building at multiple points onto our Manchester fibre network
• On-site multihomed transit available along with VLAN circuits to other Manchester-based datacentres
