Which .NET versions do you support?
Every current version. That means the full .NET Framework line up to 4.8 for classic ASP.NET, WebForms and older line-of-business apps, plus modern .NET (Core) including .NET 6, 8, 9 and the latest release. Runtimes sit side by side, so you can target whichever version your project needs.
Can I deploy with Web Deploy or straight from Visual Studio?
Yes. Every account supports Web Deploy (MSDeploy), so you can right-click Publish in Visual Studio and push straight to your site, or wire it into a CI pipeline. Prefer files? FTP and FTPS are there too. Web hosting starts from £5.27 per month.
Is Microsoft SQL Server included?
Yes, from our Silver plan upwards. MS SQL Server databases are included on Silver and Gold, and MySQL is there as well if your stack needs it. You get full connection details and can manage schemas with SQL Server Management Studio, EF migrations or whatever tooling you already use.
Do you support .NET Core and the latest .NET?
Absolutely. Windows is our speciality, not a Linux afterthought, and modern .NET runs beautifully on IIS. We add new .NET releases quickly, so the latest version is usually available soon after Microsoft ships it.
Can I run my own DLLs and background tasks?
Yes. You can deploy your own assemblies, and long-running work is fine via hosted services or scheduled tasks. If you need something specific, ask us first - our support team are developers and will tell you honestly what will and won't work before you buy.
Windows or Linux - which should I choose?
If you are running ASP.NET, .NET Framework, MS SQL Server or Windows-only components, choose Windows - it is what we build our platform around.
